Initial appointments are typically 1-2 hours. We will discuss your pet's medical history as well as any goals or concerns you may have. I will perform a gentle examination with a focus on areas of discomfort, movement restrictions and weakness. Building your pet's trust and maximizing their comfort is a priority so sometimes we have to go slow here.* Based on our discussion and my exam finds, I will formulate a treatment plan and perform any appropriate treatments for that day.
Follow-up appointments are typically 45-60 minutes. We will discuss how your pet has been since the previous session and I will perform a follow-up exam. We will either continue with the treatment plan or adjust it as needed. * I do not travel with an assistant so sometimes you may be asked to hold your pet for part of the exam or treatment. For everyone's safety, some parts of an exam or treatment(s) may not be appropriate. |
