What Is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles into specific anatomic points. This stimulates nearby nerves, immune cells and soft tissue structures that lead to local and distant physical and biochemical responses. These changes can help decrease inflammation, reduce pain, relieve muscle tension, promote relaxation and support healing.

How often will a pet need acupuncture?
The number and frequency of treatments will depend on your pet's specific needs. We typically start with 1-2 sessions per week for the first 3-5 sessions. After this we can often taper to less frequent sessions as needed by your pet.
